a february 22 storm

I smacked the window And bled a bloody trail Millions of us Became lost in the process; We had condensated.
And as soon as we started We stopped And the birds heralded our departure But we were far from through.
We Were replaced by the slow Heavy, burdened things Erasing the dark colors With their trails.
They had tails, which they didn’t And wings and forms that they did not have Which lasted shorter than blinks But stretched longer than thoughts.
And then the oldest one of all Slowly made its way thro

This CityI can’t find beauty here. Upon a highly powdered high powered land Where they pay with flat green dead heads To tell a palm to grow. Symmetric mounds of houses dotting former mountains Each tweaked with a different hue and shape To convince us of what they are not. Unique.
Lonely dogs moaning in the white hot afternoon Merciless sprinklers refusing to spare a drop On the neighbor’s yard, Surprisingly cold cement walls separating Warm faces. No loud music after eight.
Give me the wild free taste of nature That’s absent for miles around This City

infinite patienceIt takes only four minutes For the civilized man to disappear And a being of frustration Is left with its hands on the wheel And two pairs of eyes in the back.
I felt like our lives would end Weaving in and out of lanes, yelling—no, Ripping apart words, chaos in high volume. And in such horrible fashion, gone awry I saw something that children should never see: The desperate line between love and hatred. I prayed with agony and couldn’t believe it was true.
The thing with memories Is that they tend to fade too fast Which makes me wonder about the infinite patience
